John Clark

The John Clark Motor Group is a family-owned business that operates from 37 locations across Scotland. The dealer group sells new and used cars from 12 well-known brands, including Audi, BMW, MINI and Volvo. The business also sells commercial vehicles on behalf of Nissan, Renault and Volkswagen.

Customers can visit their local showroom or use the John Clark Motor Group’s website to reserve or buy a new or used vehicle. Applications for vehicle finance can also be made online, which means customers can choose the car of their dreams and organise the funding, without leaving the comfort of their living room.

In addition to new and used vehicle sales, the John Clark Motor Group acts as a broker for many finance and leasing companies. The dealer group provides a comprehensive range of after-sales services, which include MoT testings, accident repair, body shop and servicing. Motability and business fleet services are also available.

Company founder John Clark started the business in 1977 with a BMW franchise. During the 1980s Clark expanded into 4x4s and added partnerships with Mitsubishi and Suzuki to its dealer network. In 2016, John Clark was awarded the OBE in recognition of his achievements in business and charity.
