The DS Automobiles brand is a subsidiary of the PSA group that includes Peugeot and Citroen, and is relatively new in the marketplace. Beginning in 2009 as a sub-brand of Citroen, it is now recognised as a separate brand, although it remains closely related to Citroen and shares many components and technologies.
Which DS is right for me?
The DS range is something of an unusual mix with few cars that fit into conventional market segments. The DS3 is a small hatchback that is fun to drive although is showing its age, while the newer DS3 Crossback is a small crossover that is also available with a pure electric powertrain. The DS4 and DS4 Crossback are compact sized but mix coupe and hatchback looks whilst still offering useful space inside, and the DS5 is a larger hatchback with a distinctive sweeping roofline and a luxurious cabin. Topping the range is the DS7, a large premium SUV that can be specified with hybrid power.
