heycar Renault Zoe Offer Terms and Conditions

The heycar Renault Zoe promotion (the "Promotion") is provided by Mobility Trader UK Limited trading as heycar ("heycar", "we", "us" and "our"). We are a limited company, registered in England. Our registered company number is 12016686, and our registered office is at 5 New Street Square, London, United Kingdom, EC4A 3TW. Our website is at heycar.co.uk (the "heycar site") use of which is also subject to our heycar Terms of Use. Purchases of vehicles advertised for sale by us on the heycar site are subject to our Purchase Terms.

By registering for the Renault Zoe Promotion you will be deemed to accept these terms, together with all claim instructions which form part of these terms. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms shall constitute a product warranty or a contract of insurance.

What is the Promotion?

  1. This offer applies to qualifying online enquiries and subsequent purchases made between 8 June 2022 and 8 July 2022 (inclusive) (the "Promotion Period")


Eligibility

Wallbox

In order to be eligible for the Wallbox Promotion, you must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

  • register your interest in an eligible heycar vehicle that is displaying the Electric Offer Flag by submitting an enquiry through the heycar site (each an "Enquiry") between 8 June 2022 and 8 July 2022 (inclusive)(the ‘’Promotion Period’’).
  • purchase that vehicle (cash purchase or finance) within 30 days of making that enquiry 
  • sign up to a pre-installation survey service 
  • you must be a resident of the United Kingdom  aged 18 years or older.
  • you must not be an employee of heycar or any of its agents, suppliers or related companies or otherwise connected with the dealer or related personally or professionally with any such person or any members of their immediate families or households.


Service plan detail 

In order to be eligible for the Service Plan Promotion, you must meet the following eligibility criteria in additional to the above: 

  • purchase that vehicle via Renault Financial Services (HP or PCP) within 30 days of making that enquiry 


6 Months Free Insurance 

In order to be eligible for the Insurance Promotion, you must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

  • submit a buy online enquiry and make a deposit on an eligible heycar vehicle that is displaying the Electric Offer Flag on the heycar site between 8 June 2022 and 8 July 2022 (inclusive)(the "Promotion Period"). 
  • purchase that vehicle from heycar (cash purchase or finance) within 14 days of making the deposit.
  • the policy must be activated within 30 days of the promotion end date
  • subject to underwriting criteria and acceptance
  • you must be a resident of the United Kingdom  aged 18 years or older.
  • you must not be an employee of heycar or any of its agents, suppliers or related companies or otherwise connected with the dealer or related personally or professionally with any such person or any members of their immediate families or households.

then, subject to these terms and conditions, we will pay your first six month’s insurance premium.

You will not be eligible for the Renault Zoe Promotion (Wallbox, Service Plan and Insurance) if:

  • we suspect any breach of applicable law, including in relation to fraud, money laundering or other dishonesty relating to the claim;
  • the vehicle is returned to the dealer within 14 days of purchase; or
  • you make a successful claim in relation to the purchase under the heycar moneyback guarantee.


How do I register for the Promotion?

Provided you have made an eligible enquiry within the Promotion Period, you will be eligible to register for the promotion subject to completing the pre-installation survey and subject to criteria and acceptance.


What is a Pre-installation survey for Wallbox Charger? 

  1. Scope of pre-installation survey services

You will be required to sign up to a pre-installation survey service which is included within the price 

You will choose your preferred date for the survey (T+3) within a 2-hour window. Survey appointments will be available Monday-Friday (excluding bank holidays). 

 Information gathered at the survey will include key details about the electrical infrastructure e.g. fuse rating, consumer unit make/model, whether there is a looped supply, etc. and any OZEV information. Photos will also be captured of:

  1. Main fuse x 2;
  2. Consumer unit x 2;
  3. Off street parking (for OZEV eligibility);
  4. Water bonding;
  5. Gas bonding;
  6. Preferred location of charger; and
  7. Sketch of the site.

2.     Scope of installation services for a ‘standard installation’

Following the site survey, an ENA Application form will be submitted in order to either notify the DNO or seek approval.

The information from the site survey will be reviewed and any pre-work will be discussed with the you e.g., whether an isolator is required, any site works, any bonding upgrades and whether their installation is standard or not.  Once this work is completed, then you will be offered an appointment within 10 Business Days.

A standard installation comprises:

  • Installation of the charge point to wall or other permanent structure, as per Indra’s recommendations;
  • Surface mounted external cable clipped direct to wall surface;
  • The fitting and testing of electrical connections, protections, and equipment as required;
  • Make good all drilling and penetrations to walls;
  • Ensure connectivity for Smart functionality;
  • Customer demonstration of unit, controls and mobile application;
  • Transport of unit from storage to customer property along with all required installation materials;
  • Up to 12 metres of cable, run and neatly clipped to the wall between the electricity supply meter or distribution board and the charging point;
  • Compliant to latest wiring regulations; and
  • Plastic conduit/trunking to conceal interior wiring.

An electrical certificate will be issued to the you within 1 week of the installation following our internal checking and auditing process.

If applicable, Installer will also claim any grant monies directly with OZEV on your behalf.

3. Not in scope of installation services

  • Any required groundworks
  • If an installation falls outside of the standard  installation specification, this will be quoted on a case-by-case basis  dependent on the individual  requirements of the property
  • The customer will be contacted to discuss these  quotations in detail and advice given.
  • All costs outside of the Scope of a ‘standard installation’ will be the responsibility by the customer.
  • Examples of most common ‘non-standard’ installation have been found to be:
      • 100Amp Double Pole Isolator Switch (provided by your energy supplier only). Estimated cost: £80-£150
      • Additional cabling 5 meters (provided by Plug Me In). Estimated cost: £50
      • Water/Gas Bonding (provided by Plug Me In). Estimated cost: £200
      • Civil Works – e.g. lifting slabs, digging trench. Estimated cost: POA

Service plan detail

PCP and HP Finance provided by Renault Financial Services, Rivers Office Park, Denham Way, Maple Cross, Rickmansworth, WD3 9YS. Subject to status. Guarantees and indemnities may be required. You must be a UK resident (excluding the Channel Islands) and over 18. Terms and conditions apply. Offers cannot be used with other schemes or finance offers. Prices and offers shown are available on specified used Renault ZOE vehicles when ordered and approved for finance between 8 June 2022 and 8 July 2022. Your Renault dealer is a credit broker and not a lender. Lenders will pay commission to your Renault dealer, rates may vary but will not influence the interest rate you pay. **2 Years Renault ZE Service Pack covers the vehicle for the chosen term from the inception of the months and services, whichever comes first. Once the number of services has been reached or the time period ends this product is no longer valid. Services must be carried out in line with the manufacturer’s minimum maintenance programme requirements and servicing intervals, and can only be carried out at a Renault Approved outlet. The pack covers 2 Services over a 2 Year period. Refer to the Warranty and Service sheet in the Handover document wallet for details. Additional items identified during the servicing components check (including maintenance or wear and tear operations) are not covered. All prices quoted are MRRP. How do I register for the Insurance Promotion?

Provided you have made an eligible enquiry within the Promotion Period, you will be eligible to register for the promotion subject to completing the insurance application form and subject to underwriting criteria and acceptance.


Other important terms

We reserve the right to amend or withdraw the heycar Renault Zoe promotion at any time on reasonable notice provided that no such amendment or withdrawal will affect your rights in relation to vehicles already purchased at the time the amendments or withdrawal comes into effect. 

Entry into this promotion cannot be in conjunction with any other offer. Lost, incomplete, invalid, illegible or late claims will not be accepted. we reserve the right to dispute a claim if we believe the claim is not legitimate. heycar’s decision is final. 

The six month free insurance promotion is non-transferable to another vehicle, does not apply for optional add-ons and is non refundable.  No cash alternative will be offered and the Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with another heycar insurance promotion.  

Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability to you for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that, by law, may not be limited or excluded. Subject to this, in no event shall we be liable to you for any loss, damage or disappointment suffered as a result of your entering (or inability to enter) the Promotion or your acceptance or non-acceptance of the Promotion.

You may not transfer or assign any or all of your rights or obligations under these terms. If we fail to enforce any of our rights, that does not result in a waiver of that right. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, all other provisions shall remain unaffected.

These terms and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the subject matter of the Promotion. These terms may not be varied except with our express written consent.

These terms shall be governed by English law, except that (if you are a consumer and not a business user) and if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, there may be certain mandatory applicable laws of your country which apply for your benefit and protection in addition to or instead of certain provisions of English law. 

You agree that any dispute between you and us regarding these terms will only be dealt with by the English courts, except that (if you are a consumer and not a business user) and if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can choose to bring legal proceedings either in your country or in England, but if we bring legal proceedings, we may only do so in your country.
