Skoda Kodiaq Review

The Skoda Kodiaq is a byword for versatility and value for money. The latest model builds on that winning formula, with more space, fresh technology and a more upmarket cabin. We think the new plug-in hybrid engine will be worth waiting for, although the regular petrols and diesels are more than up to the job of shifting this large SUV. While the new Skoda Kodiaq is slightly more expensive to buy than the old model, it still represents decent value for money, and ought to be fairly cheap to run.

Volkswagen Tiguan Review

The latest Mk3 Tiguan is an effective and convincing evolution of what’s gone before it, offering smart looks, a plush interior, lots of space and practicality, and a reasonably polished driving experience.

Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid review

The third version of Jeep’s little SUV is, we think, the best. The advanced mild-hybrid system gives it impressive efficiency, especially around town, and at a considerably lower price than the full-electric version. If you’re after something stylish and small for urban runabouts, it’s well worth a look, and it’s happy on longer motorway journeys, too.

BMW 5 Series Review

Having been first introduced in 1972 and with huge success ever since, the BMW 5 Series is a behemoth in motoring circles. This latest eighth-generation version has had to diversify to stay relevant, but BMW has absolutely nailed its transformation, and come up with a truly stunning executive car.

Volkswagen Passat Estate Review

A very good all-rounder in the family car stakes. If you want something roomy and posh, but you don’t want an SUV, then the Passat should be on your shortlist.
